Welcome to Room 202!
Hello and welcome to my classroom homepage!
My name is Erin Vetsch and I teach first grade at Prickly Pear Elementary. This is my thirteenth year teaching first grade, but my fourteenth year teaching in the East Helena School District. I am excited to welcome my new students! I am a firm believer in the value of education and the importance of being a lifelong learner. I enjoy sharing my love of learning and reading with my students every day.I attended the University of Montana-Western for two years, and then transferred to finish my college education at Carroll College. I graduated from Carroll in December of 2005, and worked as a Para Educator for Helena Middle School during the 2006- 2007 School year. During the 2007-2008 school year, I returned to East Helena and taught second grade, before moving to Eastgate. In 2011, I finished my Master's degree in Reading and Literacy through Walden University.I have been married for fourteen years to my wonderful husband, Mike. We have two amazing daughters, Mackenzie and Avalyn, ages nine and seven. We are both East Helena natives. In fact both of us attended Eastgate and Radley School when we were children. We enjoy spending our time together traveling, hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. Please feel free to email me anytime and I will reply as quickly as possible! Thank you for visiting my site!
