    Hello!
    My name is Katy Hauer and I am a second grade teacher at Prickly Pear Elementary School.
    My career in East Helena began in 2003 as a second grade reading tutor at Eastgate. Then in 2005, I moved to my own classroom, as a kindergarten teacher at Eastgate. In 2008, I moved to Radley to teach second grade. 
     I am so thrilled to be teaching in a brand new school and am looking forward to another great school year!
     
    My favorite color is purple.
    My husband and I live in Helena with our daughters Abby and Brooke. As a family, we enjoy camping, going to the lake,  and traveling.
     My education:
    I graduated from Fairfield High School (Go Eagles!) and I completed my bachelor's degree at MSU-Billlings in 2002. In February of 2008, I completed my master's degree at Walden University in elementary reading and literacy.
