When I am not teaching, I spend time with family. My husband, Tim, is a farmer, rancher and firefighter. I have two wonderful daughters, Genevieve and Everly. We absolutely love spending all of our spare time together on the farm.
For most of my life, I have called Sioux Falls, South Dakota home. Summers were spent traveling with family. Adventures in the west became my favorite. So selecting a college was no problem for me. I spent my college years at Montana State University in Bozeman, where I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. Later, I returned to MSU to earn a Master's of Science in Science Education. It’s safe to say, I’m a proud Bobcat fan!
Of my 16 years of teaching, the majority of them were taught in fourth grade. Last year I made the change to fifth grade with my fourth grade class. Looping with my fourth-grade class was an absolute blast. I am now full-time in fifth grade.
Looking forward to a great year,
Mrs. Dusenberry
