I grew up in Great Falls and attended C.M.R. High School. I graduated from M.S.U. in 1989 (Go Cats!) and am married to a diehard Griz, so life is interesting at my house. Right after college I packed my bags for sunny, or should I say smoggy, Fontana, California where I taught first grade for two years. I followed my heart back to Montana and taught third/fourth grade for three years in the small town of Charlo. We then moved to East Helena where I taught fifth grade for six years and am currently teaching second grade. I earned my Masters in Technology Education from Lesley University so I do enjoy the technological world. I am married to Tony, who was a teacher and football coach at Helena High School. (Go Bengals!) He retired and is currently working at the University of Providence in Great Falls. We have two sons, Troy and Ryan. Troy is a teacher and coach in East Helena. Ryan is a student at the University of Montana and a member of the football team. (Go Griz)
