Hello! I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Prickly Pear Elementary! I was born and raised in Helena and couldn't be more grateful to be teaching in my hometown. I graduated from Montana State University (GO CATS!!!) with a degree in Early Childhood Education & Child Services. I received my preschool-third grade teaching certification and couldn't imagine doing anything else in the world besides teaching young children! I began my teaching career in Cardwell, MT as a combined first and second grade teacher. I taught in Cardwell for two years before joining the Prickly Pear family. Second grade is my FAVORITE, we get to learn and create so many wonderful memories together throughout the year! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I love traveling to new places and exploring the beautiful state we live in.
