East Helena Public Schools

 Hi! I’m Mr. Hogan.  I am the Art Teacher at East Valley Middle School (EVMS). I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Art Education and Bachelors of Fine Art in Studio Arts from Montana State University Bozeman, GO CATS! I have taught for four years. This is my first year teaching at EVMS and to say the least, I am thrilled to be here! I am excited to teach and demonstrate a variety of art forms to all my students. Here are some examples of mediums and projects you can expect to learn about this year: we will be creating graphite drawings, charcoal portraits, macro drawings using oil pastels, building ceramic vessels, and much more! Beyond the classroom I enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking Mt. Helena, spending time in my studio spaces, and hanging out with friends and family. I am passionate about art and want to help others to be creative. I’m looking forward to working at EVMS and exploring and discovering our creative selves!
