    About Me:

I am an East Helena native and have lived in the East Helena community the majority of my life.  My mother taught in this district for 23 years. My father retired from the ASARCO Smelter after 30 years, and then taught welding at Helena College for 15 years.  Needless to say, I was born into a teaching family.
At the age of 17, I enlisted into the Marine Corps and found myself in recruit training two days after graduating high school.  After completing a four year enlistment as a Combat Engineer, I decided that I wanted to pursue teaching as a career.  I received an Industrial Technology Education degree from UM Western.  After graduating,  I took my first teaching job in Whitehall, MT, where I taught for four years.  As East Helena began the construction of its high school, I landed my dream job of teaching in my hometown for the 2020-2021 school year.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and daughter.  I am an outdoor enthusiast and can often be found outside participating in shooting sports, fishing local streams, or building little projects in my garage.
