Hi! My name is Katie VanderZanden and I am the 8th Grade Comm Arts teacher at East Valley Middle School. I started teaching in East Helena in 2019, and I am so thankful to be a member of this school district. I grew up in a small southern Idaho community. I decided to come to Montana so I could attend Carroll College. I graduated from Carroll with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English for Secondary Education. I hope to attend grad school to get my master's degree in English in the near future!
I'm looking forward to another wonderful year at East Valley Middle School.
