    BASIC INFORMATION: 

    An Elementary Bond of $12 million is being requested that equates to approximately 36.21 mills annually.
    This levy is estimated to cost a homeowner approximately $4.07 per month or $48.88 per year on a home with a market value of $100,000. 
     
    The median home value in the school district is $134,968 which is estimated to cost a homeowner
    approximately $5.50 per month or $65.97 per year on a home with a market value of $134,968.
     
    You can actually use this website to closely estimate the actual impact on the home you own by following the steps listed below.  


    Steps to figure out individual tax impact:

    Step 1:   Go to the website: http://itax.tylertech.com/lewisclarkmt/

    Step 2:  Type in the last name of the property owner - hit search and choose the correct property parcel from the list by clicking on the parcel number.

    Step 3:  The tax statement details will come up. In the 2015 Section there are two figures. These include the Market Value and the Taxable Value.  See below.

    Step 4:  Under the “2015 Value”, find the “Taxable Value” amount.

    Step 5:   Insert the “Taxable Value” amount into the box in the Bond Calculator below.
