Hello,    

My name is Cole Bass and I am the band director at East Helena High School and East Valley Middle School. This will be my seventh year in the district, and I am very excited to begin rehearsing our performance pieces for the year! I am a graduate of The University of Montana, GO GRIZ! During my undergrad, I was a member of the top Wind and Jazz ensembles as well as the Grizzly Marching Band. Currently, I play with a number of bands in and around the Helena area. My primary instrument is the saxophone, but I am classically trained on all wind instruments and percussion. As a band teacher, I feel it's important to be proficient on every instrument in band so that I'm able to properly instruct my students on theirs. Aside from teaching, I enjoy skiing, floating, gaming, biking, and performing with multiple musical groups around the Big Sky State!
