    Hello all and welcome to Mr. Somerfeld's class page. On this page you will find multiple resources to stay up to date on events, policies, and other items of that nature in room 08. I am looking forward to this upcoming year and working with all of your children!
     
    Now, on a more personal note, I was born and raised on our family farm just outside of the small town of Power, Montana, where I spent the entirety of my youth. I come from a family of 5, with two older brothers. I come from a family of educators including both of my parents and my middle brother.
    I received my undergraduate degree from Carroll College, where I also played football for the Fighting Saints. 
    I have been in the East Helena community for the past three years. I am super excited to continue my experience with the East Helena community. GO TIGERS!!!
