• RADLEY WRAP-UP
    November 24, 2020

Greetings parents and guardians!  Here’s what’s happened and what’s forthcoming as we end day 67!

    COVID-19 and District #9
A sincere note of appreciation to all students, parents, guardians and staff members who worked together to ensure instruction moved forward during the recent Radley building closure!  We are currently planning to reopen the building to all students on Monday, November 30th.

If your family checked out a chromebook for access to Google Classroom from home, please keep that chromebook at your residence rather than returning it to the school office on November 30.  We currently are planning to recall those chromebooks around the end of January, once the holidays have passed and county data in regards to COVID-19 new cases begins to decline.

    Free Meals
Free lunch and breakfast for all students has now been extended through the end of the current school year, which is June 9, 2021!

    PT Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences proceeded with a new format and a very high rate of participation!  Thanks for taking the time to visit with us about your student’s progress.  If you have yet to conference with your child’s teacher please contact the school office at 227-7710

    Demographic Information
Is your child’s demographic information current?  Does the school have a working phone number and email to reach you or an adult contact you designate in case of emergency?  Please contact the Radley office (227-7710) if an update is needed.

    Progress Reports
Watch for your student’s progress report for Quarter 2 on Friday, December 4th!

    Drop Off and Pick Up
A HUGE thank you to all parents and guardians for your continued efforts at helping us keep students safe.  Drop off time at Radley starts at 7:50 daily with all students entering the building upon arrival.  Supervision starts at 7:50 as does the COVID safety practice of keeping students grouped in cohorts.

    Food Share Food Drive
East Helena Public Schools food drive to support Helena/East Helena Food share has gone virtual this year.  Here’s the link if you’d like to donate, check out the total amount donated or the status of each school thus far:   https://helenafoodshare.org/fund-drive/east-helena-schools/

    Early Releases in December
All students will be released at 1:30 on Monday, December 7 and Friday, December 18th.  Buses will run their normal after school routes with students arriving at their drop off sites approximately 90 minutes earlier than normal.

    Stay Safe!
